TeacherGaming, a rising star of the start-up scene
The goal of TeacherGaming is not to develop learning games, but to incorporate learning into games that school-aged children and teenagers like to play. As a start-up company TeacherGaming is well on its way and constantly evolving. Recently TeacherGaming developed MinecraftEdu and sold it to Microsoft. Nowadays it has partnered with Paradox Interactive, the company behind the Cities: Skylines game. This popular game has been added to TeacherGaming’s selection of games that educate and entertain at once.

Taking the visual brand to the next level
Originally started by two students from Joensuu, startup TeacherGaming is on the way to success. The co-operation with Bermuda begun with a clear mission to boost the brand to the next level. Bermuda and TeacherGaming started to create together a modern and fresh visual identity. The best elements of existing visuals were chosen and developed, and a great deal of new vision added. The old logo and visual identity had been applied in various ways over time and this muddled communication. Together Bermuda and TeacherGaming redefined the company’s visual identity.

Sales boost and serving different target groups
For Bermuda team, the starting point of design process is always profound understanding of the business field in question. In this case, Bermuda strived to dig deep in to the world of TeacherGaming in workshops. Bermuda team delved into the core of business and sought the best understanding of the education games industry. The aim of the new logo and visual identity was to resonate with several focus groups: the end users of the games, like pupils and teachers, as well as officials who invest in educational materials.

Genuine and modern identity crowned with a playful logo
Authentic, imaginative drawings, fresh new colors and a playful logo convinced both TeacherGaming and Bermuda. New main messages and tone of voice were created as well. Ever since, the materials by Bermuda have been applied by TeacherGaming for several marketing purposes like pitching presentations, website and print materials.
